Booking Condition

PAYMENT FOR BOOKINGS

For online bookings, customers are required to pay the designated "booking fee" or the amount displayed on the Website at the time of booking the selected Vehicle. Payment is made online using a valid Credit Card/Debit Card/Mobile Banking (IMPS) or net banking via NEFT/RTGS which should be paid and you can also pay by visiting the Hyundai official dealer.

If customers intend to purchase a vehicle fully online, they can only pay the Booking fee through the Click to Buy online site.

Payment receipts are issued on behalf of the Dealer by the Payment Gateway (hereinafter referred to as the "Agency").

HMID is only a facilitator in the transaction and a Website provider for online car booking, and customers transfer to the Dealer. Therefore, HMID will not be liable for any charges incurred and actions taken by the Agency arising from online booking payments. If customers suffer any loss or damage arising from payment transactions made on the website, HMID is not responsible for the same, and customers have another avenue to claim damages only from the Dealer.

Online booking is available on the Website, while payment services are supported by intermediaries providing Payment Gateway and merchant services.

Customer payments for online vehicle bookings through the Payment Gateway Agency are subject to terms and conditions provided by the Payment Gateway Agency. HMID or its Dealer are not responsible for payment issues related to online bookings through the Payment Gateway Agency.

Transactions, booking amounts, and all other commercial terms such as balance payments, vehicle delivery, etc., must comply with the bilateral contract obligations agreed upon between the customer and the relevant Dealer only, and Payment Gateway facilities are only arranged to facilitate smooth and fast online booking transaction settlements. The use of Payment Gateway facilities shall not render HMID/Dealer liable or responsible for non-delivery, non-receipt, non-payment, damages, breaches of statements and warranties, non-provision of after-sales services or warranties, or fraud related to products and/or services listed on the HMID Website.

The amount sent by the customer will be realized and transferred to the respective Dealer account, chosen by the customer, when making the online booking.

Customers authorize the Payment Gateway Agency engaged by HMID to collect, process, facilitate, and transmit payments and/or transactions electronically regarding transactions through the Payment Gateway Facility. Customers understand, accept, and agree that the Payment Gateway facility provided by HMID is not a banking or financial service but merely a facilitator providing electronic, automatic online payments for transactions on the Website using existing official banking infrastructure and Payment Gateway networks. By providing the Payment Gateway facility, HMID does not act as a trustee or in a pledge capacity in connection with the amount of online booking transactions.

Processing fees for online booking payments made by customers will be borne by the Dealer only if the online booking is converted into a successful vehicle sale to the customer by the Dealer.

HMID reserves the right to limit the number of online bookings that a customer can make through Credit/Debit/Cards/Bank Account/or any other financial instrument or to refuse online bookings made by customers, have a history of previously disputed charges including but not limited to any breach of agreement by the customer with HMID/Dealer or any legal violation/breach or any charges imposed by the Issuing Bank or any policy violation, without assigning any reason whatsoever.

If HMID deems a customer's transaction suspicious or the customer is involved in any form of illegal activity, HMID may withhold the transaction and may not inform the Dealer or transmit the Booking amount to law enforcement authorities (instead of returning the same funds to the customer) upon the request of law enforcement authorities.

Customers acknowledge that HMID will not be liable for any damages, interests, claims, and others caused by not processing Transactions or delays in processing Transactions that are beyond HMID's control.

After online booking of the vehicle and online payment transactions, the system will generate a Transaction Reference Number, acknowledging the payment receipt for the online vehicle booking. Customers must use the Reference Number for all future communications with the Dealer and produce a copy of the receipt showing the Reference Number as and when required by the Dealer. However, this Acknowledgment will not be treated as a dealer's booking acceptance.

Customers agree that the Dealer will not be deemed to have received the customer's booking or be bound by the booking until the Dealer informs the customer of the booking acceptance. The Booking amount paid by the customer at the time of online booking will be adjusted to the vehicle's selling price at the time of raising the Invoice by the Dealer. Customers must pay the balance amount to the Dealer to complete the successful vehicle purchase transaction. After that, the Dealer must deliver the vehicle as per the delivery commitment date provided by the Dealer after receiving the full payment for the vehicle and the required supporting documents, the booking will be binding. Until then, the online booking is merely a request and/or VIN allocation is temporary on the part of the customer and an indication of intention to sell on the part of the Dealer and does not result in booking confirmation or sales contract, and if the booking fails to be accepted for any reason or cannot be completed, there will be no financial implications for HMID or the Dealer except as per the terms and conditions mentioned herein.

If customers fail to pay the balance amount within the specified time as informed by the Dealer, the vehicle selected by the customer or temporarily allocated VIN will be allocated to the next customer. After that, depending on the date of receipt of the balance amount from the customer, the customer's Booking Reference Number will change, and the delivery of the vehicle ordered by the customer will be delayed by the Dealer, depending on the availability of the specific vehicle ordered by the customer.

Images/graphics of vehicles, Accessories, etc., displayed on the Website are for representation/illustration purposes only, and the actual vehicles, Accessories, etc., may vary from the depiction made. Vehicle specifications, Accessories, etc., and prices including, legal levies (Customs Duty, Taxes, and other charges) will apply as applicable on the date of the invoice issued by the Dealer to the customer.

CANCELLATION & REFUND PROCEDURE


  • Cancellation Period
    Customers can request cancellation of online orders after the contract has been signed within the time period specified by HMID. Cancellations cannot be made outside the time period specified by HMID.


  • Submission of Cancellation Request

    • Customers writes the reason for the cancellation in the comment column and uploads proof of payment of the booking fee in this cancellation request (in the format set by HMID).

    • Cancellation will be processed after the designated dealer approves the cancellation request submitted by the customer.

    • The Refund process will follow the procedure as follows:

      • If the Customer orders the vehicle online, the refund will be made in the amount of 50% (fifty percent) of the total payment as a penalty because the Customer applies for unilateral cancellation by Customer without the clear reason of cancellation;

      • With some special conditions, refunds will be made in the amount of 100% (one hundred percent) of the payment amount, if they meet the following terms and conditions:

        • Vehicles booked out or unavailable

        • The credit process is not approved by the Leasing party or the Bank

        • Hyundai cancels the order for any reason.


      • Refund Policy
        The refund is determined based on the payment method used by the Customer at the time of payment of the booking fee.


        • Funds will be refunded via bank transfer to the original account used for the booking fee payment transaction.

        • Credit Card: Funds will be refunded by returning the credit card limit after deducting the administrative fee for handling the amount determined by the Bank. (refund/reversal)





*The refund process for Bank Transfers and Credit Cards will take 14 (fourteen) working days from the time the refund request is approved by HMID. (The refund process and period still refer to the terms and conditions applicable to each Bank)


SPECIAL CONDITIONS:


As long as it is not expressly and clearly regulated in this section, the payment provisions for orders as
regulated above remain in effect.
For online orders (pre-booking) of certain Hyundai vehicle units, customers may be required to pay a booking fee which will be channeled through party appointed by HMID and then forwarded to the official Hyundai Dealer.



The cancellation process will follow the procedure as follows:

  • Shall only be done after the pre-booking period ends

  • Attach proof of pre-booking confirmation received by the Customer through registered email

  • Handled by the Dealer appointed by HMID.



HMID has the right to fully reject pre-booking cancellation requests if there is inaccurate information after validation.
