Indonesia's future car

Zone 1

A very important area, and give you a view of how Hyundai manufactured the electric vehicle. The raw material production of minerals, such as nickel, is an important factor in the development of battery technology.

As you may know, Indonesia is one of the world's main producers of nickel. There are also battery modules for the battery pack and battery cells visible. The videos played in here show how the materials are made, as well as how the lithium battery is made.

E-GMP (Electric Global Modular Platform)
The E-GMP – the Electric Global Modular Platform – is a dedicated platform made especially for EVs. It is the first electric-only dedicated platform from Hyundai. It is the vehicle's chassis, which includes the battery, motor, and power electric system. It transforms how EVs deliver performance, making sure that the driving experience meets your lifestyle needs. Simply put, the E-GMP offers many more reasons to switch to electric vehicles. The E-GMP architecture enters the market in 2021 with Hyundai’s IONIQ 5.

The IONIQ 5 is a car that was granted to the Hyundai Mobility Exhibition Center at the Transportation Museum so that the young generation in Indonesia can learn about electric vehicles and what the future holds for automotive technology. In the video that is played beside the display, you can watch the signing ceremony of IONIQ 5 at HMMI. In addition to the videos that are played, there are also logos from Hyundai partners who are actively involved in the development of the EV ecosystem in Indonesia.
