What is EV charging subscription program?

Monthly subscription package available for certain user group to obtain benefits related to EV Charging, such as:
1. Home charging benefit that applicable under Hyundai EV sales program.
2. Public charging quota that can be used at Hyundai EV Charging Network.
3. Mobile charging quota that can be used in case of emergency to reach the nearest EV charging station.

Available users :
1. Hyundai EV user
- New Hyundai EV buyer, proved by Hyundai EV VIN registration through Application. Users who are within 3 months of the warranty start date after car purchase. And are eligible to claim promotional products.
- Hyundai EV User or owner, proved by Hyundai EV VIN registration through Application. Users who are beyond 3 months from the warranty start date after car purchase. And are not eligible to claim promotional products.

2. General EV User
- Sharing EV User is user who are able to use Hyundai EV because they are shared by other Hyundai EV owners through the App.
- Other brand EV user is user who use EV from brands other than Hyundai.



What EV charging subscription program packages are available?

EV charging subscription package or "subscription package" consist of :
1. Free package.
2. Paid package.

There are criteria for each plan and each user group. You can see the details in the myHyundai app.



What is free package?

1. Part of program that available for New Hyundai EV Buyers who purchase certain models with the attached sales program.
2. This package is non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partially used or unused benefits. It also has a time limit for the claim period and a time limit for implementation.

It may available and accessible for the following benefits:
a. EV Home Charging (one time only – depends on sales program);
b. EV Public Charging; and/or
c. EV Mobile Charging.



How to know that I'm a legitimate user of the program and to claim the free package?

a. Install and sign up to myHyundai app.
b. Then verify the user group through VIN registration for Hyundai EV users.
c. Open the “EV Charger” menu, proceed to the “Subscription” page and open the “Available Products” page.
d. After that, select “Free Basic EV” package and you will get a activation notification.
e. View your plan details on the “My Subscription” page.



Is there any time limit to claim the free package?

It must be claimed (available for) maximum 3 (three) months after the warranty start date (handover activation process). Otherwise, it may not be valid.

After claiming free package, user can check the details on the myHyundai Indonesia app (e.g. available/remaining kWh quota, usage of kWh, payment history, next payment schedule, etc.).

Once the free package is claimed, users cannot cancel it until 3 (three) months + 1 (one) day after the activation date.

User can only have 1 (one) active package at 1 (one) period, if user decides to cancel or change the package, then the claimed free package will be invalid or void.

User can purchase new package after the benefit of current package expires.



What is paid package?

Part of program that available for Hyundai EV users that may have different promotional prices and benefit types depending on the user group. It can be purchased by user through myHyundai app.

User need to pay subscription fee in form of recurring payment through myHyundai app.

It may available and accessible for the following benefits:
a. EV Public Charging; and/or
b. EV Mobile Charging.



What is subscription fee?

Subscription fee is a payment method to purchase paid package that will be recurring, and users will have to register it through 3rd party system; Xendit (Hyundai's payment aggregator partner):
1. E-wallet (OVO); same as registered number on myHyundai.
2. Credit Card.
3. Debit Card.

Payment of subscription fee is only valid if user pay via an authorized payment method on the myHyundai Indonesia app. Payment of each package may include taxes and other transaction fees.



How to join or purchase the paid program?

Steps to join the program and make a payment for subscription fee:
a. Install and sign up to myHyundai app.
b. Then verify user group by registering VIN for Hyundai EV user.
c. Open “EV Charger” menu, navigate to “Subscription” page and go to “Available Products” page.
d. Once you have confirmed the purchase of the package, you will be redirected to the “Payment” page.
e. Proceed the payment, and IF success You will get the notification of payment and package activation.
f. View your plan details on the “My Subscription” page.

Discounts of subscription fee may be applied based on availability for user group, it can be checked during the package purchase process.

User can only have 1 (one) active package at 1 (one) period, if user decides to cancel or change the package, then the current package will be invalid or void.

User can purchase new package after the benefit of current package expires.



How the payment renewal system works?

For renewal payment collection, users will get a 3-day trial automatically through the system based on the payment method registered since the 1st payment. If the final renewal payment collection fails, the subscription will be stopped.

Collection of the subscription fee will be made on the same day of the following month, but if the date falls between 29th,30th,31st,1st,2nd, and 3rd then the next benefit renewal will be 4th day of the following month.

User will be notified via myHyundai Indonesia app for the renewal period of the paid package.

User may cancel package at any time, and user will continue to have access to the benefits until the end of the billing period.

Subscription fee is nonrefundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used or unused subscription package benefit.



What is public charging benefit?

User will get benefits in the form of kWh quota during the package’s active period.

In addition to the electricity fee, the quota will also include service fees (in accordance with ESDM regulations). Other fees that may be applied by CPO Roaming partners that are not regulated by ESDM regulations are not covered by the quota, but can be paid separately using EV Tokens by users.



How does the kWh quota (public charging) on free package work?

kWh quota will start or be activated rightaway after package activation and renewed in the 2nd day of following month. Remaining kWh quota in current period cannot be used for the next period.

Free package will be terminated automatically after 1 (one) year from activation date and user need to purchase a new package. And kWh quota will be reset on 2nd (second) day of the 13th (thirtheenth) month since the package is active.



How does the kWh quota (public charging) on paid package work?

kWh quota (public charging) will start or be activated rightaway after package activation and renewed upon the subscription fee payment confirmation. But if the renewal payment collection date is falls between 29th, 30th, 31st, 1st, 2nd and 3rd then the next kWh quota renewal will be 4th day of following month.

Remaining kWh quota will be expired at the end of package period and can’t be carry over to the new package period.



What is emergency mobile charging benefit? And what is the TnC?

Benefit in form of emergency mobile charging quota during the package's active period which can be checked at time of package selection. Will be active D+1 after purchase subscription package.

User can use the quota in case of emergency and by following the applicable rules:
a. EV battery level is ≤ 10% and Hyundai only provide CCS2 charger on emergency mobile charging unit.
b. Charging power capacity up to 10 kWh per session.
c. Area within Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi (Jabodetabek), Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Denpasar, and Medan with the coverage distance ≤ 40 KM from Hyundai dealer.
d. Emergency mobile charging may require waiting time for the user due to the distance, traffic situation, location accuracy, prioritization rules based on Hyundai standard and other reasonable circumstances.
e. If the unit is not available, Hyundai provides a towing as a backup option to drive to the nearest EV Charging Station for rescue upon approval from the user under certain conditions.
