How to Subscribe?

1. Install and sign up/login to Bluelink app.
2. Pairing Hyundai vehicle with Bluelink account.
3. Click on Bluelink Services Information on the Bluelink Services InformationHome page and select subscription plan.
4. After you select subscription plan, it will redirect to Order Details page.
5. Place order and proceed payment, then you will get the notification of payment and subscription plan activation.
6. You need to Reconfigure in Head Unit.

Question 1 - I have just purchased a new Hyundai vehicle. Do I need to pay to register for Bluelink?

No, you do not need to pay to use the Bluelink service when purchasing a new Hyundai vehicle. Bluelink is available free of charge for the first three years with the purchase of a new Hyundai. After the 3-year free trial period, if you wish to continue using the Bluelink service, you will need to subscribe, and subscription fees will apply.




Question 2 - Where can I find the subscription expired date for the Bluelink service?

You can find your Bluelink subscription expiration date:



  1. Open the Bluelink app.

  2. Click on More at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Select Vehicle Selection.

  4. Choose your vehicle from the registered vehicle list.

  5. Click on Subscription Information.

  6. Your Bluelink subscription expiration date will be displayed.




Question 3 - Where can I check the status of my Bluelink subscription?

In the Bluelink app on your phone, go to the More page and select Vehicle & Service Settings and tap Subscription Information.

After the 3-year free Bluelink service period, access to Bluelink features will no longer be available. To continue using Bluelink services, you’ll need to subscribe to a paid plan.

Currently, there is no difference in subscription package pricing for any car models. Bluelink subscription plan is available as a single package priced at IDR 599,000 for one year.




Question 10 - How do I subscribe to the Bluelink service?

Here are the steps to subscribe to Bluelink service:



  1. Open your Bluelink app.

  2. Select Bluelink Service Information on the Home page.

  3. Select Renew Plan.

  4. Choose Subscription Plan.

  5. You will be directed to the Order Details page.

  6. Ensure the Subscription Plan Details and Payment Details are correct.

  7. Select Enter Promo Code.

  8. Enter Promo Code if available.

  9. Select Apply.

  10. Select Use Promo Code.

  11. Select Auto Renewal if you want the subscription to automatically renew.

  12. Select Yes, Activate if you want the subscription to automatically renew.

  13. Select the Terms & Conditions.

  14. Select I Agree.

  15. Select the Privacy Policy.

  16. Select I Agree.

  17. Select Place Order.

  18. Select your preferred Payment Method.

  19. Complete payment before payment expired time

  20. Ensure that a Payment Successful notification appears.

Bluelink subscription for a single vehicle can be accessed on multiple devices.




Question 14 - Do I need to re-enrollment when starting a Bluelink service subscription?

No, you do not need to re-enrollment when starting a Bluelink service subscription.




Question 15 - Will my expired date be updated if I subscribe to the Bluelink service?

If you subscribe to the Bluelink service, you only need to reconfigure the Head Unit, and your due date will automatically update based on the activation date and the duration of the subscription package you choose.




Question 16 - If I uninstall Bluelink app, will my Bluelink subscription continue?

If you uninstall the Bluelink app, your Bluelink subscription period will continue as per the plan selected at activation.




Question 17 - What happens to my Bluelink service subscription if I change my phone number or email?

If you change your phone number or email, the active period of your Bluelink service subscription will continue as per the subscription plan you selected during activation.




Question 18 - What if I sell my car but still have an active Bluelink subscription? Can I transfer the subscription to someone else?

To transfer ownership of your Bluelink account, including active subscription, to someone else, please contact the Bluelink support center to request account ownership transfer. After ownership verification, a Bluelink service operator will assist in registering your vehicle under the new approved owner. The Bluelink service will remain active until the end of the subscription period.




Question 19 - How can I transfer my Bluelink account ownership? What happens to my active subscription if I do?

Question 23 - Can I set up Auto Renewal for my Bluelink subscription?

Yes, you can set up Auto Renewal for Bluelink subscription to ensure your subscription remains active with payments made automatically at each billing period. Auto Renewal is only available with certain payment methods. Here are the steps to set up automatic renewal:



  1. Open your Bluelink app.

  2. You will receive a notification that your Bluelink free usage period has ended.

  3. Select Convert to a paid plan.

  4. Select Renew Plan.

  5. Choose Subscription Plan.

  6. You will be directed to the Order Details page.

  7. Ensure the Subscription Plan Details and Payment Details are correct.

  8. Select Auto Renewal if you want the subscription to automatically renew.

  9. Select Yes, Activate if you want the subscription to automatically renew.








Question 24 - Can I choose not to enable Auto Renewal for my Bluelink subscription?

Yes, you can choose not to enable Auto Renewal by not tapping the Auto Renewal button on the Order Details page. The subscription renewal for your Bluelink will be done manually by you.




Question 25 - Can I cancel Auto Renewal for my Bluelink subscription?

Here are the steps to cancel Auto Renewal for my Bluelink subscription:



  1. Open the Bluelink Subscription page.

  2. Select Stop Auto Renewal.

  3. Select Yes, Stop.

  4. Ensure that the notification confirming your automatic renewal cancellation appears.




Question 26 - What is the status of my Bluelink subscription if I share the Bluelink app with someone else for the same Hyundai vehicle with the same VIN?

If you share the Bluelink app with someone else for the same Hyundai vehicle using the same VIN, the Bluelink subscription remains active for both the owner account and the shared account.




Question 27 - What if I own more than one vehicle? Do I need a subscription for each vehicle, or is one subscription enough?

Bluelink subscription plan is valid for one VIN only. Therefore, if you own more than one vehicle, you will need to subscribe separately for each vehicle.


Question 28 - How do I update my payment method information?

You can cancel the automatic renewal that you previously agreed to and then proceed with a transaction using a different payment method. Here are the steps to update your payment method information:



  1. Open the Bluelink Subscription page.

  2. Select Stop Auto Renewal.

  3. Select Yes, Stop.

  4. Ensure that the notification confirming your automatic renewal cancellation appears.

  5. Then, you can make transactions with a new payment method.




Question 29 - What happens if my Bluelink subscription payment fails?

If your payment fails, you’ll receive a Payment Failed notification. Please check your payment details and try the transaction again for your Bluelink subscription.




Question 30 - What happens when my Bluelink subscription expired?

Once your Bluelink subscription expired, access to all Bluelink features will no longer be available. To continue using Bluelink services, you will need to renew your subscription.




Question 31 - Can I cancel my Bluelink subscription?

Bluelink subscriptions cannot be canceled mid-term. Your subscription period will continue for the full term as selected upon activation.




Question 32 - Can I pause my Bluelink subscription?

No, Bluelink subscriptions cannot be paused. The subscription period will continue uninterrupted from activation.




Question 33 - Is it possible to receive a refund for my Bluelink subscription?

Refunds are not available for Bluelink subscriptions.
