Tire Protection Program

Guaranteed for the replacement cost of new tires of the same type and size if Hyundai The all-new KONA Electric, IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6, STARGAZER, STARGAZER X, or CRETA experiences damage (burst or tear) due to a traffic accident and is rendered unusable.

Mechanism:


  • Valid for sales (Retail Sales) of Hyundai The all-new KONA Electric, IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6, STARGAZER, STARGAZER X, or CRETA.

  • This guarantee is valid for 1 year after the date of handover of the vehicle to the customer.

  • This guarantee applies if the tire is damaged in the form of a tear or explosion due to a traffic accident so that it is no longer suitable for use and the customer must replace it with a new tire of the same size and type.

  • Customers have the right to apply for reimbursement of new purchase costs in the amount of:

    • For damage occurring within 0 - 180 days after the unit handover date:

      • Model STARGAZER, STARGAZER X, and CRETA: 1,000,000 per tire (depending on which nominal is smaller).

      • Model The all-new KONA Electric: Customers are entitled to receive a replacement of 100% of the cost of new tires or a maximum of IDR. 5,000,000 per tire (depending on which nominal is smaller).

      • Model IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6: Customers are entitled to receive a replacement of 100% of the cost of the new tire or a maximum of IDR. 6,000,000 per tire (depending on which nominal is smaller).



    • For damage occurring within 181 - 365 days after the unit handover date:

      • Model STARGAZER, STARGAZER X, and CRETA: 800,000 per tire (depending on which nominal is smaller).

      • Model The all-new KONA Electric: Customers are entitled to receive a replacement of 80% of the cost of a new tire or a maximum of IDR. 4,000,000 per tire (depending on which nominal is smaller).

      • Model IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6: Customers are entitled to receive a replacement of 80% of the cost of a new tire or a maximum of IDR. 4,800,000 per tire (depending on which nominal is smaller).


  • Each customer can only replace a maximum of 4 tires within 1 year of this program guarantee.

  • Customers can purchase new tires at any tire shop as long as the tires used are the same size and type as the standard tires from the manufacturer.

  • How to report claims for this program:

    • Customers are required to report to the Hyundai Call Center within a maximum of 7 (seven) days after the accident.

    • Customers are required to attach a traffic accident certificate from the local police office and attach photos of tire damage.

    • Customers must attach an invoice for purchasing new tires.


  • Things that can invalidate the guarantee for this program are:

    • The vehicle has been sold to another party.

    • Using tires and rims that are not standard from the manufacturer.

    • Vehicles used for rental purposes (except sales in Bali province).

    • Accidents caused by driving or driving that violate the rules.

    • Tyre damage due to worn, inflated, used racing or off-road tires.


  • Hyundai Motor Indonesia has the right to refuse to submit a claim for this tire guarantee program if it does not comply with the regulated provisions.
