It has come to our notice that certain unscrupulous entities / persons, impersonating themselves as employees/representatives of Hyundai Motor India Limited (“HMIL”),
are targeting and duping innocent people by various modes. These unscrupulous elements are engaging into deceitful and illegal acts by offering dealerships to interested prospective candidates and have also created a fake website of HMIL, email IDs, etc. using the name of HMIL, its employees and are wrongfully allotting dealerships by issuing fake and forged Letter of Intent (“LOI”) and also demands money to confirm / allot the Dealership.
It is hereby informed to the general public that HMIL has neither appointed any agency/person for selection/appointment of Hyundai dealership nor authorized anyone to solicit any money at any stage of the selection process. It may be noted that HMIL follows a stringent and confidential protocol approved by the top management of HMIL for allotting Authorised Dealerships. If people receive any fraudulent communication by any mode, they are advised to immediately contact to the nearest HMIL office the details of which is available at our only official website at www.hyundai.com and may also lodge a complaint with the concerned government authorities.
HMIL shall not be responsible for the amount paid to any individual/agencies/Companies purporting to represent HMIL or for any other loss. HMIL once again cautions general public that responding to such fraudulent offers could result in compromising crucial personal information that can be misused to cause financial losses.
