Lower running costs

The main advantage of hybrid cars is the improved fuel consumption compared to their petrol counterparts, delivered by the combination of petrol engine and an electric motor. This means less time and money spent on fuelling.

Extended Range

Hybrid cars switch between electric and fuel power sources to maximise fuel efficiency and range compared to fuel-only vehicles. The electric motor handles low-speed driving, and regenerative braking recaptures energy created during braking to charge the motor, extending overall mileage. Plus, our advanced hybrid batteries deliver impressive range and reliability—so you can drive with confidence, whether it’s the daily commute or a weekend escape.

A hybrid car is one that’s propelled by two different types of power: an electric motor and an internal combustion (petrol) engine. This configuration means that hybrid cars can take advantage of both energy sources for excellent fuel efficiency and performance.

Hybrids utilise both an electric motor and a fuel engine to power the vehicle. In a Hyundai Hybrid, the electric motor and fuel engine often work together to optimise performance. The motor handles low-speed driving, while the engine kicks in when extra power is needed. Regenerative braking also helps recharge the battery as you go.
