Connected routing*.

Connected Routing is best described as next-level Sat Nav because it calculates directions via a powerful server in the Bluelink™*
cloud. The recommended route you receive from the server is much more than A to B directions because it analyses real-time road conditions and estimated traffic information to point you on the quickest route.  Connected routing is so efficient, it’s like having your own personal traffic helicopter guiding you on every drive[P2].

Voice recognition*.

Your words are all-powerful thanks to the Bluelink™* Voice Recognition system. You can do just about everything without having to look down at dash displays or play with any control buttons (which means much safer driving). With the push of a button on the steering wheel, you can make hands-free calls, set your navigation, select music, manage climate control and much more.

Next level emergency safety*.

For the ultimate peace of mind, the BluelinkTM in-vehicle features includes Automatic Collision Notification[P5] – an Emergency SOS Call Service which can be activated in the event of a severe collision. When the SOS button[P6] is pressed, you’re connected to an emergency call facility which can dispatch emergency responders if and when required.

After you drive.

Remote[P2] door lock/unlock*.

You will never have to worry “Did I lock the car?” again with the Bluelink™ app[P1]. If you do forget to lock up, the app will send a push notification reminder to your smartphone. No matter where you are, you can lock (or unlock) your Hyundai with a PIN or Biometric authentication. The App can even close or open your windows for you.

If you have to park your Hyundai a distance away from your destination (such as a major sporting field or crowded city location) you can use the Bluelink™ app[P1] to continue guiding you on your smartphone. Using Augmented Reality can guide you as you walk to your destination.

FAQ's.

Bluelink is the telematics system found in selected Hyundai models. Bluelink allows you to connect with your vehicle because your vehicle is fitted with a modem containing a SIM. The modem and SIM are embedded in the vehicle and just like other parts of a vehicle, are fitted at the factory, and allow the vehicle to connect with a mobile network.

There are two ways you can activate Bluelink services:

a. Via the vehicle infotainment system; or
b. By downloading the Bluelink App, creating a Bluelink Account, and linking it to your vehicle (much like what you do when you pair your smartphone to your vehicle).

To access the full range of Bluelink services (including remote services) you need to activate Bluelink by downloading the Bluelink App, create a Bluelink Account and link it to your vehicle.

From your vehicle’s Bluelink connected infotainment system, you can view live traffic, weather forecasts and point-of-interest (POI) search. If you link the vehicle to your smartphone, you can access Bluelink remote features.

Available services may vary depending on model and vehicle specification.

We are adding new functionalities and features to Bluelink over time, to make the service as useful and helpful as possible to customers.

You may use the Bluelink services after you have activated Bluelink and for a period of five (5) years beginning from the date of first registration of the new vehicle (“Complimentary Period”).

At the end of the Complimentary Period, we will notify you of the terms of your subscription (including fees and payment options) for your continued use of the Bluelink services. If you notify us that you do not wish to continue to use the Bluelink services at the end of your Complimentary Period, we have the right to disconnect your Bluelink device.

In the event of a genuine emergency, press the dedicated SOS button to speak with a third-party emergency assistance call centre who will speak to you to determine what help you need. Your vehicle must have a working electrical system, including adequate battery power and mobile network coverage for the Bluelink device (connected modem) to operate. Your vehicle is only able to establish calls with Hyundai’s appointed third party emergency assistance call centre.

You are responsible for the costs of any emergency services requested by you, or by anyone using your vehicle including as a result of an automatic collision notification or when you press the SOS button. Hyundai cannot guarantee responses from emergency providers.

(Not available if Bluelink services are disabled or terminated.)

Which mobile network provides data? Do I have a choice of mobile network provider? Hyundai partners with Singtel, the parent company of Optus, to provide SIM cards and data for Bluelink services. Bluelink coverage is available only in those geographic areas covered by the Optus network in Australia. You do not have a choice of mobile network provider as Hyundai has the arrangement with Singtel/Optus specifically for the provision of Bluelink services.

Bluelink services may include features that rely on the location services provided by your mobile device or using the wireless communication networks of Optus and the Global Positioning System (“GPS”) satellite network. Not all the Bluelink services are available everywhere, particularly in remote or enclosed areas, or on all vehicles, at all times. The operation of the location services may be affected by issues outside our control, including your location, your activation or deactivation of location services on your mobile device, and services provided by your mobile telecommunications service provider. The area that you are driving in may affect the type or quality of service that we can provide to you. Additionally, some Bluelink services may not be fully available if the GPS system or other mobile device features are not working. Certain programming limitations of the GPS system may impair our ability to determine your vehicle’s precise location.

The system is connected to the Optus 4G network. Where 4G is not available, 3G connectivity may be possible subject to the availability of, and compatibility of, the infotainment system with such networks. Otherwise, the Bluelink device (that is, the connected modem in your vehicle) will stop functioning and Bluelink services and all data transmission via the Bluelink device will cease.
At the end of the Complimentary Period, we will notify you of the terms of your subscription (including fees and payment options) for your continued use of the Bluelink services. If you notify us that you do not wish to continue to use the Bluelink services at the end of your Complimentary Period, we have the right to turn off your Bluelink device.

If you sell your vehicle, be sure to deactivate Bluelink services. To deactivate Bluelink services you need to:

1. Reset Bluelink to factory settings via the infotainment system - go to Bluelink in settings and select ‘deactivate Bluelink’ and reset to factory settings; and

2. If you have connected your smartphone to your vehicle, you also need to cancel or terminate your Bluelink subscription via the Bluelink App. In the Bluelink App, go to ‘My Account’ and select ‘Terminate My Account’.

You can refer to the Bluelink User Manual or visit hyundai.com/au/en/owning/bluelink for more information. Alternatively, the new owner can contact Hyundai on 1800 186 306 for any questions or enquires.

You should also notify any new owner of the vehicle about the following matters:

3. The vehicle contains a Bluelink device (connected modem);

4. That the owner should refer to the Bluelink User Manual or visit hyundai.com/au/en/owning/bluelink. Alternatively, the new owner can contact Hyundai on 1800 186 306 for any questions or enquires.

5. The remaining term of the Complimentary Period (if any).

If your car has Bluelink features, you will have access to Bluelink regardless of whether you are the first or subsequent owner of the vehicle provided that the subscription to Bluelink services has not expired.

If your vehicle is still registered to the previous owner, you can deactivate the previous owner’s account to that vehicle by using the deactivation feature in-vehicle. Just go to ‘Settings’ then ‘Bluelink’ and select ‘Deactivate Bluelink and reset to factory settings’.

You can refer to the Bluelink User Manual or you visit hyundai.com/au/en/owning/bluelink for more information. Alternately you can call us on 1800 186 306 and we answer any Bluelink questions or enquires.

To activate Bluelink services, follow the steps at FAQ 8 above.

If you already have a Bluelink Account, you simply sign in using your email address and your chosen pin. 4. Read and accept the ‘Terms of Use’ which apply to the Bluelink Account. 5. Read and accept the information set out in the’ Privacy Collection Notice’ – Bluelink. 6. Then pair to vehicle by: a. Click ‘More’ in the Bluelink App and select ‘Vehicle Selection’. b. Click ‘Add’ under ‘Vehicle Under My Name’ and agree to the ‘Terms ad Conditions’ as well as ‘Privacy Policy’. c. In your car, navigate to ‘Bluelink Settings’ and click on ‘Modem Information’. 7. Scan the VIN QR code in your vehicle and input the 6-digit verification code.

You are now ready to the full range of Bluelink services.

If an airbag deploys or a severe collision is detected, Hyundai’s appointed third party emergency assistance call centre will be notified. The emergency assistance centre will contact you through your vehicle’s speaker to see if you need help. If you need help or don’t respond, it will be treated as an emergency. Your vehicle must have a working electrical system, including adequate battery power and mobile network coverage for the Bluelink device to operate.

VIN/CHASIS number is a 17-digit number which can be found on the:

1. Vehicle Registration Certificate
2. Windshield of the passenger seat (viewed from the outside)
3. Footwell of the driver’s seat under the carpet

Every vehicle equipped with a Bluelink device (modem and SIM) has its own data allowance from Singtel. However, Hyundai’s partnership with Singtel allows excess data use to be covered by remaining unused data from other Bluelink users. This data 'pool' is large enough to fully cover regular use of the services. You will not be charged anything if you go over your data allowance.

Please note that mobile data usage is at the user’s cost. Contact your smartphone service provider for information on your data allowance and fees.

Bluelink coverage is available only in those geographic areas covered by the Optus network in Australia.

Bluelink services may include features that rely on the location services provided by your mobile device or using the wireless communication networks of Optus and the Global Positioning System (“GPS”) satellite network. If your vehicle is stolen, you should first file a stolen vehicle report with the policy.
