Ever felt at home in the middle of nowhere?

We crossed the border and headed into New South Wales, swapping the red dirt of the Flinders Ranges for the snow-capped Snowy Mountains.

But as the SANTA FE Hybrid made its way toward Jindabyne, something felt different. Maybe it’s the frosty air and altitude, but it seemed that nature reigned supreme, with each curve of the road beckoning us to stop and explore.

From red country to snow country and beyond.

We designed the SANTA FE Hybrid so that comfort and nature can coexist. Over its journey so far, it’s certainly seen both, from the striking pink lakes of Point Sinclair in South Australia to the unforgiving, remote stretches of the Nullarbor Plain and the tough, windswept roads through Western Australia's outback.

On these endless roads, it helps that the first-row seats have a built-in leg rest, providing a comfortable position for managing the road trip playlist or games of I Spy. Plus, with the SANTA FE Hybrid’s fuel economy, we could take extra pit stops to explore and chat with locals with peace of mind.

When we arrived in Jindabyne, Mitch and Mark couldn’t resist setting up a home away from home to take in the view.

With the click of a button, the SANTA FE Hybrid’s rear seats fold, turning the wide boot into a terrace-like relaxation zone.

Then, all you need is some extra pillows, blankets and a vase for hand-picked flowers to set up your own picnic with a view. You could even grab some pastries from Sundance Bakery, a local favourite almost as old as the town itself.

After a day out in the great outdoors, our modern-day adventurers enjoyed the mod cons of the SANTA FE Hybrid, including the UV-C sterilisation tray. Found in the glove compartment, it easily cleans phones, wallets or anything else that may have been through it during your adventures.

Plus, with a spacious interior and ample storage space, including a dual access centre console, there was plenty of room to stretch the legs after a day of exploring, making the SANTA FE Hybrid worth it for adventurers.
