Android Auto

Android Auto can be connected by Bluetooth system wireless connection or USB wired transmission connection, allowing you to use the Android operating system through the mobile phone screen or car screen and operate many compatible applications on the smart phone in the car, while you are driving. Functions such as navigation, maps, calls, messages or music can be easily controlled through Android Auto, allowing you to concentrate on driving and ensure driving safety.

Conditions of use Android Auto

Use Android Auto on your car screen via USB cable

• Android Auto requires an Android phone with Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or higher. The phone must have a valid data plan and the latest version of the Android Auto app installed.
• To use a wired connection, you need to prepare a high-quality USB cable to connect the phone and the vehicle. If prompted after connection, please download the Android Auto app or update to the latest version of the app.

Use Android Auto on your car screen wirelessly

• Requires a compatible Android phone. Phones must have a valid data plan, support 5 GHz Wi-Fi, and have the latest version of the Android Auto app installed. Phones with the following Android versions support wireless projection:
• All phones with Android 11.0
• A Google or Samsung phone with Android 10.0
• Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ or Note 8 with Android 9.0
• To use a wireless connection, the phone must be paired with the car via the Bluetooth system, and it is recommended to turn on Wi-Fi and location services during the setup process.

Android Auto Instructions

	Step 1 Connect the phone and the vehicle by using a USB cable or Bluetooth system.

	Step 2 Once connected, follow the prompts on your mobile phone to check the passkey and accept device pairing on your mobile phone.

	Step 3 After users complete the setup process, they need to tap the Android Auto icon on the center display to activate Android Auto.

Enter the Android Auto system interface and start operating the application, including functions such as map, phone, messenger, and calendar.

• Application Launcher: Touch the button to open the Application Launcher.

• Multitasking tool: You can use this gadget to control what's in use while working with other applications.

• Notification Center: Tap the notification button to view your recent calls, messages, and alerts.

• Microphone: Tap the Microphone icon to talk with Google.

	Step 5 Android Auto application example: You can get driving directions and navigation tips through Google Maps, including voice navigation, estimated time of arrival, real-time traffic information, lane guidance and other useful functions.

	Step 6 To disconnect your phone from the wireless projection function: If you do not want to continue using Android Auto wirelessly, tap [Exit Driving Mode] on the notification screen of your phone. Please pay attention to driving safety! Always pay attention to road and traffic conditions and obey traffic rules.

Android Auto app does not work

Before checking the questions below, please make sure that your Android phone is running Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or higher and has a data plan enabled.
