Hyundai Help for Kids continues to grow.
Regional Partnership Program
Hyundai Help for Kids (HHFK) has launched the HHFK Regional Partnership Program, an exciting new initiative focusing funding into carefully selected partners in each regional area, as chosen by those regions.
Since 2014, HHFK has helped Australian children through national charity partners, with funding provided by both the Hyundai National Dealer Network and Hyundai Motor Company Australia. While this ensures that most of our country is covered, some regions felt the program could engage more closely with causes directly related to their communities.
HHFK has always been a genuine source of pride for Hyundai Dealers and Hyundai Motor Company Australia. In 2022, shortly after the National Dealer Meeting in Cairns, Hyundai Dealers expressed their desire to increase the level of support to help Aussie kids. This determination ultimately saw a 25% increase in contributions from both Dealers and HMCA for all Direct to Dealer sales* for HHFK funding.
It was decided that the additional contributions would finance a Regional Partnership Program and that each regional office would identify organisations that help Australian kids at their local level.
Each region is granted funding to support its localised CSR partnerships. This initiative empowers regions and local dealers to activate locally for a cause that genuinely resonates with their geographic market and helps raise awareness and relevance of HHFK at the local level.
We are proud to present our inaugural family of regional partners and look forward to sharing news on our collaborative efforts during this year and beyond.

Initial Regional Support Activities
We hit the ground running with our new Southern Region partners, creating bespoke activations with our local sponsorship partners:
Who’s Kona hit a Six?
To celebrate the new Southern Region partnership with the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation, we were excited to be part of a Hyundai sponsorship integration with Melbourne Renegades across four Marvel Stadium home matches during the recently completed T20 season.
The ‘Who’s Kona Hit a Six’ campaign saw $250 donated to the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation for every Six hit by a Renegades player in these matches, and the 29 Sixes resulted in $7,250 raised during this campaign.

These funds will be further dollar-matched to support the Connor’s ERG Challenge 2024, a rowing challenge to help raise funds and awareness for kids with brain cancer.
We're inviting gyms, schools, rowing clubs and individuals to register and set their own rowing challenge in
February 2024.
Use your brawn for the brain to help fight paediatric brain cancer, the #1 disease killer of young people.
Registration is free and open now!
Blues Big Day Out
We collaborated with Hyundai Australia-sponsored Carlton FC to invite HHFK partners to Ikon Park for an exclusive pre-season event for the whole family!
More than 50 guests from our family of partners joined us on this day, including special guests from our new Southern Region partner, Very Special Kids, to share an afternoon of food, activities, giveaways and a meet and greet with Carlton players.
We received great feedback, including the following:
“My daughters and I had an excellent day. It was really well setup with lots of activities for the kids. It was wonderful to meet the players and the food was good (and Asha's gluten free diet was well looked after). Lots of positive feedback from our awesome day.” – Very Special Kids
