Taking excellent fuel efficiency to the next level, SANTA FE Hybrid model is equipped with a petrol engine and electric motor. They work together supported by a 1.49 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery to deliver excellent fuel economy and cut down on tailpipe emissions.

      You benefit from increased body rigidity and collision safety through the increased use of hot stamping parts and advanced high strength steel for an improved average tensile strength of 4.5% vs. the previous SANTA FE Hybrid.

      Crash load distribution

      Significant improvements in collision safety and crash load distribution have been achieved that enable the SANTA FE Hybrid to better absorb the impact in the event of a collision while at the same time minimising the deformation of the passenger space.

      Ten airbags for high end safety

      SANTA FE Hybrids have been upgraded from 6 to 10 airbags for optimal protection in critical situations: featuring 2nd row side, driver’s knee, and centre side airbag. As well as 2 front, 2 side, and 2 curtain airbags which now also cover the 3rd row seats.
    4. The Hyundai SANTA FE Hybrid prevents accidents by detecting vehicles approaching from behind. 

      Safe Exit Assist (SEA)

      Keep your kids safe – this feature prevents accidents by detecting vehicles approaching from behind and temporarily locking the rear child lock door, so passengers can only exit when it's safe.

        Enjoy perfect rear view visibility even with luggage blocking the rear window. When activated, DCM uses a camera to project a real-time display onto the mirror for a much wider field of vision.

        Now you can see the rearward left- and right-hand side views of right in front of you in the digital cluster. The cameras are activated by the turn indicator during lane changes.

          Perfect for parking garages. If an obstacle is detected via the rear-view camera or rear ultrasonic sensors, PCA will display a warning and, if necessary, apply the brakes.3

        3. Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA)

          SANTA FE Hybrid's Remote Smart Parking Assists (RSPA) allows you to effortlessly park and exit tight spaces, even when you're not behind the wheel. Simply use your smart key fob to remotely guide your SANTA FE Hybrid forward or backwards into a parking spot.3

        4. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2 (FCA 2)

          Warns if the preceding vehicle suddenly slows down or if a risk of collision with a vehicle, a pedestrian, or a cyclist is detected – and can also apply the brakes automatically.3

        5. Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA)

          When reversing out of areas with low visibility, the system not only warns you if vehicles approach from the side - it also applies the brakes automatically.3
