What is the ULEZ?

The Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) was introduced in an effort to improve air quality in central London, by discouraging drivers of high-polluting vehicles from using the roads. From 29th August 2023, the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) expanded to cover all London boroughs.

If your vehicle doesn't meet the ULEZ emissions standards and isn't exempt, you need to pay a daily charge to drive within the zone.
