Hyundai and Hilton Grand Vacations Drive Eco-Tourism Forward with Exclusive EV Experiences in Hawaii
TOKYO/SEOUL, August 8, 2024 – Hyundai Motor Company has unveiled detailed plans for its electric vehicle (EV) collaboration with Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV). This strategic relationship, established on July 2, is set to enhance Hyundai customers’ summer vacation experiences in Hawaii’s major tourist destinations through the use of EVs.
Under the plan, Hilton Grand Vacations will offer a three-night Hawaii vacation package to customers in Korea who purchase a KONA EV, IONIQ 5, IONIQ 5 N, or IONIQ 6 during the promotional period and attend an HGV membership orientation.
In addition, from July 29, 2024, to August 31, 2025, Hyundai Motor starts a complimentary Hyundai EV experience program, ‘Hyundai Mobility Passport in Kona’. HGV members and guests from Japan who are staying at designated HGV resorts in Waikoloa, Hawaii, can drive an IONIQ 5 or KONA EV by making a reservation on a special website for the program. A mandatory service fee will apply for insurance and maintenance related to the complimentary Hyundai EV experience, and vehicles will be subject to availability.
