2009 ~ 2011
From 2009, Hyundai Motor developed its first innovative high-speed electric vehicle. The name represents Hyundai Motor's eco branding by combining the word 'blue' with 'on' from 'start-on' and 'switch-on'. The car first made its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009 and was developed based on the strategic European model i10. Blue On has a maximum speed of 130 km/h and can run up to 140km after a full charge.
