STARIA Hybrid powertrain.

The new STARIA Hybrid Van uses electric power to help you go farther on a litre of petrol. Taking excellent fuel efficiency to the next level, it is equipped with both a petrol engine and a battery-powered electric motor: a full-parallel hybrid drive system.

Petrol engine.

The 1.6 litre T-GDi engine features Hyundai’s unique Continuously Variable Valve Duration tech, which optimises engine performance and fuel efficiency. It is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Electric motor.

The powerful 54 kW electric motor adds a sporty electric edge to the hybrid's acceleration and performance.
Battery.

The 1.49 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery stores electricity generated by the regenerative braking system which is then used to power the electric motor.
