H2U x Nicole Scott

1 minute read

Through H2U, Mobile Geeks co-founder Nicole Scott discovers the potential of a
zero-emission hydrogen society.

Nicole Scott is well known in her international Mobile Geeks community for giving the inside story on all things mobile. As one of Hyundai’s H2U ambassadors, Nicole is expanding the definition of mobility to discover how hydrogen fuel-cell tech is changing how we move, live, and experience the growth of a Hydrogen Society. It’s all part of her H2U documentary, “Discovery Series.”

Driving Hyundai’s NEXO fuel-cell car from one discovery point to another, Nicole connects the dots of a complete hydrogen ecosystem, in which fuel cells offer zero-emission power to cars, trucks, trains, factories and homes. She uses her tech expertise to demystify the hydrogen fuel-cell system, and her experience as a journalist to consider the wider impact on society.

Even for people who follow the latest tech developments, hydrogen fuel cells open up a whole new world of true and transformative sustainability - a story that’s ready to be heard because it matters more than ever. NICOLE SCOTT

Nicole’s journey takes her around the emerging hydrogen infrastructure of Germany and into conversations with some of the leading voices in eco-mobility, from Formula One champ and sustainability entrepreneur Nico Rosberg to Hyundai’s Head of Research & Development, Albert Biermann. Each conversation takes Nicole closer to answering the question: what role does hydrogen play in a society that no longer relies on fossil fuels?

The quest for this answer is especially relevant at a time when people and institutions around the globe are searching for new and impactful ways to accelerate sustainability for both mobility and society as a whole. Nicole, the self-proclaimed “geek with a gadget,” finds out whether the big solution is closer than we think.
